IBPS conducts CWE (Common Written Exam) every year for recruitment to Public Sector Banks for the posts of Probationary Officers (PO), Specialist officers (SO) and Clerks. The subjects of the exam include:
1 Quantitative Aptitude
2. Logical Reasoning
4. General Awareness
5. Computer Awareness
The pattern of recruitment exams for selection to SBI and Associate Banks, Regional Rural Banks, Insurance Companies (for officers and clerks) , RBI etc. are similar to IBPS examinations with varying degree of difficulty.
The selection is based on n 2 or 3 Tier scheme, consisting of preliminary exams, final exams and an interview/ psychometric tests/group discussion.
